GOTTINGEN MURAL PROJECT:
Call for Submissions
Hello artists, community members, and friends,
We are looking to adorn the side of the building next to Hopyard (2103 Gottigen St.) with a new mural. And we are hoping you can help us with this process!
What we are looking for….
We need a concept from you! How would you like to see the North End decorated? What kind of new art would you like to integrate into your vision of the North End? We encourage photographs to support your vision or to showcase your previous work. We are excited to see!
What we are offering…
We are offering a $2000 budget to play within.
We are offering a 15’x15’ space for you to paint. We are open to playing with the dimensions of the piece based on the concept and price. We want to see what you are envisioning.

The selection process…
[endif]--We are offering a blind selection process from a selection committee — meaning only one person collecting the submissions will know who is submitting what ideas. Other than that, our committee will be selecting based on your submission.
The committee is looking for a piece that is:

When we are hoping to see this come to fruition…
We will be closing the submission call on August 1, 2019 at midnight. We will announce our chosen candidate by August 5, 2019. We hope to have the mural completed by September 13, 2019 for official reveal on September 14, 2019 at the Gottingen Uptown Festival.
We are looking forward to seeing all of your beautiful ideas! The top two runners up with receive a $75 gift certificate and recognition.
